Keystroke-Level Model Analyzer Privacy Policy
Keystroke-Level Model Analyzer is a Chrome extension for recording a web task flow and converting the interaction trace into an auditable Keystroke-Level Model estimate.
Data Stored
Keystroke-Level Model Analyzer stores measurement data locally in Chrome extension storage on your device.
The extension may store:
- Task name
- Task URL
- Click labels inferred from visible element text or accessibility labels
- Click role classification, such as command or argument selection
- Pointer coordinates and element bounds for pointing estimates
- Typed character counts
- Scroll burst metadata
- System response timing candidates
- KLM estimate, operator counts, and audit metadata
- Recent measurement history
Data Not Stored
Keystroke-Level Model Analyzer does not intentionally store:
- Typed text values
- Passwords
- Form field contents
- Screenshots
- Cookies
- Authentication tokens
- Full page HTML
Typed input is recorded as character counts only.
Data Sharing
Keystroke-Level Model Analyzer does not send measurement data to any server.
Keystroke-Level Model Analyzer does not sell data, use third-party analytics, or share measurement data with advertisers.
Permissions
Keystroke-Level Model Analyzer uses Chrome extension permissions to:
- Start measurement from the current active tab after a user action
- Inject the measurement overlay and recorder into that active tab
- Store recent measurements locally
User Control
You can clear recent measurements from the extension popup.
You can remove all stored extension data by removing the extension from Chrome or clearing extension site data in Chrome.
